FG-450 is the state-of-the-art multi-purpose aluminum complex food grade grease out on the market today. FG-450 is authorized by the U.S.D.A. for use in federally inspected meat and poultry plants for incidental contact with food (Category H-1). FG-450's tacky texture adds extra adhesion and allows it to stick where it is applied. FG-450 is compatible with virtually all elastomers and has unique extreme pressure qualities which allow for extended lubrication intervals. FG-450 has an improved temperature stability. With a dropping point of 450 degrees F and is stable continuously at 400 degrees F with intermittent temperatures up to 450 degrees F. FG-450 conducts heat away from bearings and parts, preventing excess wear and tear on equipment. FG-450 is water resistant. It has excellent adhesion in the presence of water, steam, or humidity. FG-450's food grade classification allows it to be versatile in packing sheds, dairies, restaurants and many other food processing industries.
